Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, with a focus on customer service and team leadership. This role requires a passion for the food and beverage industry, along with expertise in inventory control, staff training, and food safety practices. The Bar Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional service and a memorable experience for our guests.Responsibilities Manage all aspects of bar operations, including staffing, inventory control, and budgeting. Train and develop bar staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of quality. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and alcohol service laws. Oversee the preparation of beverage items, ensuring consistency and quality in presentation. Utilize Toast POS system for cash handling and transaction management. Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary to maintain stock while minimizing waste. Supervise daily shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow during peak hours. Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food production for bar menus or special events. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth among staff members. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or bar management within the food service industry. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and staff training & development. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary experience, and fine dining standards is preferred. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Toast POS). Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and financial management within a restaurant setting. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in fine dining, luxury cocktail bar, or craft cocktail bar is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively supervise staff and interact with customers.
